  18.  YAESU FT-415 expanded frequency range:

  21.  Remove the screws holding battery track and rear cover.
  22.  Locate the "CONTROL UNIT".
  23.  Close jumpers 3, 5, AND 7 if not allready closed, 6 must be open. Let other
  24.  jumpers unchanged.
  25.  Reassemble the radio.
  26.  Turn on the radio and program it as following:
  27.  "1" 135.000  PRESS VFO  THIS IS LOWER RX LIMIT
  28.  "2" 185.000  PRESS VFO  THIS IS UPPER RX LIMIT
  29.  "3" 135.000  PRESS VFO  THIS IS LOWER TX LIMIT
  30.  "4" 185.000  PRESS VFO  THIS IS UPPER TX LIMIT
  31.  Press and hold MR, VFO and 2 while TURNING ON if you need to reset or
  32.  reprogram  the radio.
